The listpic story
Listpic came from the simple idea of giving people a break from clicking in and out of all the listings to see the pics...
A while ago my wife and I moved into a new place and needed some new furniture. The first thing that came to mind was Craigslist. I had used Craigslist a lot in the past to find jobs. It worked great for that. Finding furniture was a totally different experience.
When looking for furniture on Craigslist, the main thing I wanted to do was browse through all the photos. I didn't know the exact furniture I wanted, but I knew what I liked once I saw it. I ended up clicking in and out of all the listings with pics. It took forever and made me go crazy! I stopped right there and thought to myself, there must be a better way of doing this.
That is when inspiration struck, what would be great is to see all the photos laid out just like iPhoto. I wanted to be able to quickly scan and scroll through all the pics, change the zoom, and quickly preview listings. That night I set out to fix this problem for myself and everyone else. I stayed up all night coding the first version of listpic. I hope you like it and it helps you too.

Listpic is a work of art, a masterpiece!
Do the people who give out Nobel prizes know about ListPic? I'm sure they don't because ListPic deserves an award (and not for the silly inventions and discoveries they give Nobel prizes for... like physics, which everyone knows is totally made up by bored grad students).
For those of you haven't yet discovered listpic, man are you missing out. This this will change your world.
I've been having some pain in my wrist lately and I think it's attributed to hours of clicking around craigslist. I don't want to click dozens of links to see the pictures; show them to me on the front page. ListPic.com is a pleasure to use.
I can skim want ads, personals, and not even get carpel tunnel... <grin> It's a major help if I don't want to wear out my wrist!
This ROCKS!
I give you a standing ovation for putting this together. It is perfect for checking out the for sale section! Fantastic!
This has got to be one of the coolest sites I have seen, in response to one of the coolest sites I have ever seen.
BRILLIANT! How many times have I wished I could just look through all the pictures without having to click on every post?!
This is the greatest site!!! Thanks
very, very cool
This has turned my casual browsing of craigslist's postings into a daily fix. A side benefit to this is that it actually will make people post pictures (and keep us from wasting time reading ads without them). Thanks much!
Wouldn't you know it, I just called literally the first apartment that appeared on that page and I'm going to visit and possibly rent it tomorrow afternoon. Instant results! :-)
WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW I found a loft apt today using listpic! This is my first time using it...Yeaaah!
everytime I looked at craigslist, I thought to myself "why can't I just see the pictures?" Thanks
Thank you! That was clever, and helpful!
From a Sore eyed shopper.
I wish Craig's List would buy your idea and combine the two. great job!
thank you!!!!
wonderful! a time saver! thank you...i love it!
Love it!
Great idea, and very well executed!
AWESOME. THANKS. THIS WILL MAKE IT A LOT EASIER!!!
I LOVE YOU ListPic!
Listpic is truly a 'masterpiece' piece of software.
ListPic, you are my hero. I love browsing Craigslist but clicking on the items for pictures can quickly get tiresome, especially when there are people who like to repost the same item repeatedly in order to "top post" (although that is against the rules).
After reading about ListPic, I thought it sounded great and wished that it was available for the Atlanta Craigslist. Lo and Behold, it is! I especially love the feature where you can enlarge all of the thumbnails via a button in the corner.
awesome!!! just what i have been hoping for. now my compulsion to buy furniture on CL will be even worst
I LOVE THIS!
ListPic vastly reduces my time spent looking at photos of truly ghastly coffee tables.
listpic.com rocks :)
Very nicely done.
Keep on innovating,

Since I rarely click on any Craigslist listing that doesn't have a picture, I really like ListPic, and I can see myself using it a lot in the future.
